How I got Funded Multiple Times with TopstepTrader
Hi Traders,
Hope everyone is doing well and having a great trading week! I get a lot of questions on how I got funded with TopstepTrader like how ling did it take, how hard was it, whats the best combine etc.
When I first started trading with TopstepTrader it did take a while, a few months and a few combines. The reason it did is because I was learning as much about my strategy and my winning/losing trades.
I was constantly breaking the TST rules and I had to take a step back and figure out what I needed to do or change within my trading so I could stay within the parameters and make it to the funded account.
You may have a great strategy, you may make money in your own personal account but when trading with TopstepTrader that can all change, they require pure discipline, you need to know your own strategies inside and out, you need to understand how many trades you can take before breaking any given rule, how much leverage to use etc.
My strategies were built around this, once I realized it was all about risk/reward I passed the combine and become funded multiple times earning over $4,000.
