TopstepTrader 150k Combine day 9
Hey Traders,
Hope everyone had a great long weekend, today was Day 9 of my TopstepTrader 150k Combine. There was quite a bit of movement in the early part of the overnight session but when it came to the pit open it started to move sideways before breaking down at approx. 9:45 EST. I had taken one trade at the open to the downside having it go in my favor for about 14 ticks, at that time I moved my stop to break even plus 1 and got stopped out. From there I really did not see any other trades that I was interested in.
Today is also when we start to look at the April contract in Crude Oil (04-16) so volume will be shared throughout the day which makes for some unpredictable price action. I do expect by the end of the day that it will take over and by tomorrow we will be trading April.
As of today I’m still above the $9000 requirement and have stayed within the rules. One day left to trade before I can submit my 150k combine for evaluation before moving onto the next step Funded Trader Preparation.
