Today was Day 10 of my TST Funded Trader Preparation. My plan was to look for 1-2 trades and then shut it down. Seen an opportunity for a short pre market, the momentum wasn’t there so I started to reduce risk and trail my stop and ended with +5 ticks. There was a small push down I rented for a continuation to the down side and was stopped out for 3 ticks.
At this point the sideways range was confirmed and I wasn’t willing to wait it out for another trade, I was up 1 tick after commissions and was happy with that because I finish with a “winning” day and I can submit my FTP!
Nothing is official until they evaluate my combine and approve me for a funded account, I hope to hear back at the beginning of next week. Its been a long and tough road to get to this point but I can’t tell you how much I have learned about my trading and myself. I have gained discipline, my trading strategy has gotten better and I think I have really grown as educator.
I look forward to working just as hard to get through the first 10 days of the funded account successfully and trade successfully. It really wasn’t my best trading performance through the combine and I know I can do better.
I’m grateful either way, this has been a goal of mine this year and it feels great to accomplish it. Thank you to anyone who followed the journey, believed in me and my trading strategy, especially my students.
A big thank you post will come before the new year detailing my year and my plans for the near future.
Now time for a short road trip and some fun!
Thanks for reading as always feel free to send me an email or add me to Skype.
