TopStepTrader 100k Combine Day 6
Hey Traders,
Another day in the TopStepTrader Combine, today was not easy. We had contract rollover and inventories in the same day. This can make for a great range day or sideways choppy day. Well it was sideways and choppy.
I had a few decent trades in the premarket, scalping about 20 ticks or so, the pit open session started and it just got worse. Volume was shared between both contracts and I stopped trading it. At this point I was down 6 ticks and decided to take a look at the ES to try and win my day back.
ES was no different had a nice steady bullish day but I could get my entries in properly and just getting stopped out and the lows for it to continue in my direction. Anyone heard this story before?? Yup. I took a step back and told myself it’s not worth giving up any more equity and risking my combine on day 6 of trading.
That was it for me for the day, I took a look in the afternoon but was not convinced. Losses are part of this game and if you are not okay with taking them once in a while you will never make it.
